Why is it that some comment boxes require your name and e-mail address before you can make a comment? I typically just don't comment as I don't feel I need to put my e-mail address out there for a comment on a simple article. Then this a.m., I got it again. It said your name and e-mail are required to make a comment..? So I put in my name and e-mail, and it came up that this already belongs to a registered user... and wouldn't post my comment. Well, I AM the registered user..... Is this site having problems?? It was on the Lady Gaga article on Bella. I would like to be involved in the community. It seems to be an entertaining site, but I don't understand the confusion......

you probably got signed out, and it thought you were trying to make an annon comment. just keep checking to see if you're logged in. the site does sometimes log people out without them knowing. welcome!
1Thanks. But actually I was still signed in as I went straight to another article and was able to leave a comment without having to resign in. Oh well. I guess it wasn't all that important of a comment anyway.
2I have the same thing - I will go to a story and be signed out, then I click on another one, and am signed in again...
Always look up at the top bar - if your username is there, you are signed in. If it says
login/register, you have been signed out. This has been happening to me nonsensically (is that even a word??) for the past few weeks.
