Here's a little preview of what to expect:
Content Organized Better
Now groups will be associated with the site that they should be. So fashion groups will be part of FabSugar and recipe groups will be part of YumSugar and so on. All your personal content can be found on you very own OnSugar Blog. All can be found on your shiny, new profile page.

We made it super easy to get to your unreads, create content and explore community content.

Wait until you see the awesome and super easy to use tools for creating content. These are the exact same tools that our editors use here at Sugar.
Farewell TeamSugar and teamsugar.com
It's been 3 years since we took teamsugar.com live and it has been a terrific ride. With all these changes, TeamSugar will live in the hearts and minds of us all. The community will be integrated within all our other sites. TeamSugar herself will be called "Community Manager" and will still be here to answer your questions and keep this a happy place.

I am curious as to what will happen to certain groups that have private / invite only / closed membership. Will those groups function the same and will we be able to make posts private to keep anonymous comments out?

13What is going to happen to private groups? I am really concerned about this because I almost only use the sugar site groups are the only reason I come here now. I don't want to lose track of my sugar friends nor do I want the groups I am active in to go away! Can you give us a few preview shots of what the "new" site is going to look like and how it will function??

15Has Sugar, Inc. ever considered testing a Beta version of its changes? Give people the option of using the new version and giving you feedback about all the bugs and quirks? Because just last week I exchanged PMs with Team Sugar about how it was possible to un-favorite something on your favorites page through Team Sugar but not through OnSugar.

I don't use OnSugar, but when I went to someone else's profile, links to their OnSugar blogs in their Sugar Rush redirect me to OnSugar.com.

35Easier to find stuff....sounds non threatening....but you know we fear change here on team.
36I think they are only doing this cause the team are is used more frequently the say Tres. We get a lot more comments in the Citizen 4.0 group then Tres does. Maybe this way, those posting in related groups will be more exposed to things like fab, tres and savvy?
37I don't find the cryptic answers and information-lite announcement terribly respectful to the users of the site.
38Niether do I steph. It seems like we are going to be losing a lot of the features we love. The least we could get are some straight forward answers about what exactly we can expect to see go.
I for one, hate the onsugar format. I hope we are not switching.
And I wish you guys would keep your promise to not do away with Team.

46I think having Team separate from the rest of the sites, was hurting all involved.
I came here because a friend invited me. And, at the time this place was like the Big Apple of social and entertainment sites. But after the split, the traffic has slowed immensely. Not just on team, the feature beta sites as well.
The members in my movie group have been fun and tremendous. Im willing to give the new format a chance. As long as my members can be integrated.
I think the new format might work....Thanks Brian for the advance notice.
p.s I would also like my friends list kept in tack at the new site.

Well excuse my bluntness, but this sucks balls! Especially since we were all promised Teamsugar was going nowhere.
I'll reserve judgement on exactly how awesome these changes will be until I see them in action, but having all but abandoned all of the other sugar sites because of all the awesome changes made there (I guess the awesomeness was just too awesome for me to take) I'm not looking forward to losing the only sugar site I still frequent.
I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking "if it's not broke why fix it" right now.
