I was just finishing up typing a long, long, long, long, LONG blog, and suddenly my finger slipped and I hit the backspace key, taking me away from the page. When I went back, my blog was GONE. 
I am so frustrated!
I know we've asked before but is there any way we could get a button to save a draft of our blogs? We could click it from time to time and then if we accidentally navigate away from the page, our work wouldn't disappear. Kind of like the Blogger interface below?
Blogger also has a pop-up for when you leave a page without saving. Something like this would prevent a LOT of mistakes.
It would be really, really helpful!

This would be pretty great. I've accidentally hit the back button or closed the tab a few times, and it makes me want to put my fist through the wall.

7I absolutely would LOVE this, too!! I hate that daggone back button sooo much. I also hate when you hit submit but it doesn't take for some reason - it loses it then, too.
8I open an e-mail and write my blogs in there since gmail automatically saves drafts and I've lost soooo many blogs on Sugar. This would be extraordinarily helpful. Livejournal has an automatic save and pop up too and it's awesome.

Me too, Schaianne, sometimes it takes a million years to submit, and then I get an error message.
I have always typed my blogs in an e-mail draft, and do not delete it until my blog has been properly submitted.

agree that losing your content is like losing a research paper that is due in an hour for class. Thanks Whip for providing the screen shots which will come in handy! Let's see if we can work

16I just lost a LOOONNNGGG blog that I forgot to save in my gmail and a slip of the mouse erased the whole thing.
Any update on a way to save our drafts?
